Workshop Goal
The purpose of this seminar is to bring together scientists from the
fields of coherent control and ultracold gases, from both experiment
and theory, in order to explore the possibilities of combining the
ultrafast and the ultracold, i.e. of applying the concept of
femtosecond pulse shaping to the manipulation of ultracold
molecules.
The discussion will review on-going work and identify future
challenges, and topics include:
Coherent control of photoassociation
Creation of ultracold trimers, tetramers, clusters
Exploration of ultracold reactivity and ultracold chemical reactions
Chemical reactions under conditions of quantum degeneracy
